Our rates & types of tutoring services

As with all general and special education sessions, rates are based by the hour.

Rates are based upon the following:

• Distance to client/student location

• Length of session

• Specific session (each session is created specifically for the student/client.)

• Students specific needs.

• Specific program teacher will be providing student during session

Sessions of 30, 45, 90, or 150 minutes (outside of local (up to 14 min distance) music lessons) must be evaluated on a case by case basis.

• for example, accommodations may be made based upon the specific services needed/requested and the severity of the necessity of the time frame of services provided by the educator that would require such time frame.

Specialized time frame/length of services require a letter from any of the following professionals:

• the student’s physician, LCSW, therapist, psychologist and/or psychiatrist and do not require any details whatsoever.

• The letter can be brief and does not require anything private: 

• i.e. “student/client would benefit greatly from the services at the specific length of _______ per session at _______ times per week  as per the professional recommendation of _________ (name of professional and his or her title.)”

Letter merely is intended for the special educator as they must provide consistency to each and every student that they work with. This is solely for the special educators records and will never be shared, shown or given to anyone.

Special Educator keeps each student/clientele’s information 100% confidential and never shares any information with anyone, not even with student’s/clientele’s guardian/parent without proper written consent from parent/guardian for a copy of information.

• Information will only be shared with parent/guardian of student/clientele only if special educator is provided with a proper signed letter requesting information be sent to a specified address via email or regular snail mail.

(all snail mail will be sent registered and with a signed receipt upon recipient receiving mail. All emails must require a response followed by a phone call by the recipient to the sender (special educator) to ensure that the private information was properly received to the guardian/parent and remains confidential.)

• Letters and all information always remain confidential, which is why these steps are required and absolutely necessary.

Your privacy is extremely important and it is our priority that all of your information is kept private and completely confidential. Sharing of any information will always require proper written request by you (student/your child’s parent/legal guardian.)

Every step is taken to always ensure the safety and proper care of your child during the time working with your child to make sure that all of their information is always secure and confidential.

Adjusted session times are only deemed truly necessary when the parent, specialist and educator are in agreement that the adjusted time frame will provide the best care for the student.
